Dick Van Dyke and Carol Burnett have shared a sweet reunion at a star-studded Hollywood ceremony.
The Mary Poppins actor and TV legend attended the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood to support his longtime friend Burnett at her Hand and Footprint Ceremony.
With the assistance of his cane, the 98-year-old walked onto the red carpet to greet his former co-star and pose for the cameras with her.

The American actress, comedian and singer, 91, took Van Dyke by the arm and the crowd roared in cheers and applause as the pair smiled for photos.
As they stood arm-in-arm for the cameras, Van Dyke accidentally dropped his cane and in a joking manner called out “help” to a laughing crowd.
He proceeded to tell photographers and guests that he’s “the only person who ever punched her in the stomach”, which elicited a laugh from Burnett.

As their photo op came to an end, Van Dyke thanked the crowd and Burnett planted a kiss on his cheek before continuing to pose for the camera.
Van Dyke appeared alongside Burnett on the The Carol Burnett Show, which ran for 11 seasons from 1967 to 1978.
Outside of their co-starring roles, they’ve been longtime friends as they each navigated glamorous careers in Hollywood.

During her ceremony, Burnett had her hand and footprints plastered into the ground outside the illustrious theatre– immortalising her as a Hollywood legend.
It’s an honour only afforded to the brightest stars in Hollywood and marks a major milestone for Burnett.
Speaking at the ceremony, Burnett shared a time in her childhood when she and her grandmother would visit the theatre to “look at all the footprints and hand prints of all these great movie stars”.

She recalled placing her hands in the handprints of her “one of her favourite” star Betty Grable “never dreaming that some day” she’d be doing the same.

Alongside Van Dyke, Burnett was joined by a number of high profile stars to celebrate the occasion.
Her Palm Royale costars Laura Dern, Bob Odenkirk and Allison Janney attended in support of Burnett. As did Jimmy Kimmel, Bill Hader, Jane Lynch, Lisa Ann Walter and Maya Rudolph.
The new honour joins a collection of accolades, Burnett has collected throughout her career.
The star has won six Emmys, seven Golden Globes, one Grammy and one Tony Award.
She also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1975.
