Heidi Klum has some feelings about her America’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer pick, and she’s not keeping them to herself.
The model, producer, and longtime AGT judge posted a tribute to singer Pranysqa Mishra on Instagram this week. She gave Pranysqa that Golden Buzzer back in the 2024 season. Two years on, she’s still thinking about her.
On the post, Heidi wrote, “Sometimes the kindest words come from the most unexpected places. Some people you meet in life will be your friends forever. I had tears in my eyes listening to this. Your voice is truly beautiful and your words touched my heart deeply.” She added, “So proud that you were my Golden Buzzer on AGT 2024. I really believe in you and I hope so many people get to hear your music.”
Judges check in. Friends stay. What Heidi posted sounds like the second one.
On AGT, the Golden Buzzer is the most personal call a judge can make. You’re not voting as a group. You stand up alone and say, this one, I back this person. Each judge gets one per season. Heidi used hers on Pranysqa in 2024. She’s clearly still standing behind that choice.
Pranysqa left a real impression. Heidi didn’t pull the “best of luck with everything!” wrap-up most reality TV judges default to. She’s out here two years later, publicly emotional, and telling people to go find Pranysqa’s music.
Worth noting: Heidi mentioned being moved by both Pranysqa’s voice and her words. Plenty of talent show judges praise the singing and stop there. The fact that Pranysqa’s words got to her too says this runs deeper than a typical judge-contestant connection.
America’s Got Talent has been running on NBC since 2006. It has produced plenty of Golden Buzzer moments. A lot of them fade fast. The show moves on. New acts come in. Last season’s breakout becomes a footnote. Heidi’s connection to Pranysqa didn’t follow that script.
Heidi joined AGT as a judge more than a decade ago. She has seen hundreds of acts come through those auditions. The fact that Pranysqa is the one she’s still posting about, still getting emotional over, says a lot.
The post reads personal. There’s no album to promote, no event to hype, no reunion segment attached. Heidi just went on Instagram and said what she felt about someone she clearly considers a real friend.
For Pranysqa, that kind of visibility matters. Heidi Klum has been a fixture in entertainment and fashion for over three decades. Her audience pays attention. A post like this puts Pranysqa’s name in front of a large audience, and Heidi framed it in the warmest way possible.
No public reply from Pranysqa yet, but Heidi tagged her directly and called her a forever friend in front of everyone.
Pranysqa’s 2024 AGT run is worth watching. Heidi clearly hasn’t forgotten it.
