Footage has captured the moment actor Benedict Cumberbatch was caught up in a heated altercation with a fellow cyclist.
In a video originally shared by The Sun this week, shocked onlookers watch the Sherlock star, 49, and another man verbally sparring on a London street.
“You’re deluded, you’re lying,” the man, wearing a face covering, yelled at the actor.
It appeared he accused Cumberbatch of running red lights.
The actor hit back, saying: ”Dude, you verbally abused me. I braked my bike to stop you.”
“Oh no, I verbally abused you because you completely and repeatedly broke the law,” the cyclist said, sarcastically.
“No, I didn’t. Once, and I admitted to it,” Cumberbatch said.

An eyewitness said the confrontation lasted about 10 minutes, after which Cumberbatch took photos with fans who had gathered.
“The masked guy was obviously some kind of vigilante – he was really taken aback when he saw it was Benedict Cumberbatch, but he doubled down on his rage,” the onlooker told The Sun.
“Everyone was just stood there with jaws dropped.”
The incident has unsurprisingly gone viral, drawing comments from amused fans.
”Bold to go against Smaug like this,” one joked, referencing Cumberbatch voicing the famous dragon in The Hobbit.
“The most British thing I’ve ever seen 😂,” another said.
A third wrote: “Imagine going home and telling your family that you had a public argument with Dr Strange.”
The viral argument clearly didn’t have a long-standing impact on Cumberbatch, who was among the guests to join King Charles at the King’s Trust 50th Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday morning, AEST.
No word on whether he cycled to the event or not, however!
