Billie Eilish, 24, says she never wants cosmetic surgery, doesn’t want face to become ‘botched version’

Billie Eilish has declared that she’s never getting plastic surgery, saying she’s thrilled to experience aging naturally.

The 24-year-old singer opened up about getting older during Tuesday’s episode of Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast. “I’m so excited for my face to age and my body to age and not change it,” she said.

“I want my kids to look at me and have my face look like their face, and not be some botched version of whatever the f*** is going on out there right now.”

The “Birds of a Feather” singer confessed that when she was a teenager, she had a different perspective about aging.

“I was just like, ‘This will be me forever,’” she recalled. “I remember when I was 17, I was like, ‘OK, and I am the person I will be forever, right now.’ And that’s just not how it works, obviously.”

Eilish previously shared her thoughts about celebrities getting cosmetic surgery. During a 2021 interview with The Guardian, she addressed how her song, “OverHeated,” condemned people who promote unattainable body standards.

“It’s completely fine to get work done – do this, do that, do what makes you feel happy. It’s just when you deny it and say, ‘Oh, I got this all on my own, and if you just tried harder, you could get it.’ That makes me literally furious,” she explained. “It is so bad for young women – and boys, too – to see that.”

“I see people online, looking like I’ve never looked,” the “Bad Guy” singer continued. “And immediately I am like, ‘Oh my God, how do they look like that?’ I know the ins and outs of this industry, and what people actually use in photos, and I actually know what looks real can be fake. Yet I still see it and go, ‘Oh God, that makes me feel really bad.”

Along with her take on cosmetic surgery, Eilish has spoken openly about her appearance and style. During an interview with Elle, published last week, she said that she started wearing her signature baggy clothing when she had a “toxic relationship with [her] body.”

“I had a lot of eating issues. I remember putting on, like, a big shirt and the relief that I felt. At the same time, it was my love for hip-hop culture and wanting to be a man,” said the Grammy-winner, who often performs in loose-fitting shirts and pants. “This is the misogyny that we all have within us… which is that I didn’t want to be seen as feminine, and therefore weak. It’s not right. I’ve found a good way of not feeling like that.”
