Aussie model Miranda Kerr has suffered a wardrobe malfunction while being honoured with an award.
Kerr, 43, was being honoured at the Living Beauty Cancer Foundation’s 2026 annual Spring Luncheon in Beverly Hills yesterday when the zip on the back of her dress broke, leaving her in a precarious position.
Ever the professional, the mother of four boys carried on, making her way to the podium to accept her award – before letting the guests in on the secret.
“My zip just broke in the back, but that’s okay, it happens,” she said, per People.
“You’re looking at me from the front, and worse things have happened.
“I’ve actually lost a shoe before. And a heel went flying through the audience. So, lucky that didn’t happen today.”
She later elaborated during an interview with the publication.

“My zipper broke. That’s why I’m walking like this, not showing my back,” she said, after accepting the award for her commitment to wellness and social impact, and raising funds to support Living Beauty’s holistic wellness and healing programs.
“It’s still broken, and hopefully I’ll be able to get out of it because it couldn’t go up and down to fix it. But that’s okay. We’re all human.”
The founder of skincare brand Kora Organics and wife of Snapchat boss Evan Spiegel also revealed the important role meditation has played in her own wellness journey since she was 17 – something she has now passed down to her own children.

As well as Flynn, Kerr shares Hart, seven, Myles, six and Pierre, two, with Spiegel, whom she married in 2017.
Kerr juggles motherhood and many other hats with her role as Global Brand Ambassador for Michael Hill Jeweller.
She recently told nine.com.au in an exclusive interview that she still felt incredibly grateful for her modelling career, a pinnacle of which was becoming the first ever Aussie model to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
“Obviously, looking back, I just feel incredibly grateful for that experience,” she said.
“It’s something I never could have dreamed of. Coming from a small country town like Gunnedah to representing Australia on a global stage felt completely surreal at the time.
“I really embraced the experience and I’m so grateful for it. Victoria’s Secret opened doors for me globally, providing a platform beyond anything I ever imagined.
“I really have so much gratitude in my heart for that moment and it’s been such an incredible journey.”
