Rihanna shared a behind-the-scenes look at her latest cover shoot for W Magazine, where she appears alongside her 7-month-old daughter, Rocki.
On Wednesday, the singer posted a video on Instagram from the set. In the clip, Rihanna joked that her daughter stole the spotlight from her.
“The latest fashion killa just joined our set. She kind of outshined me,” she said. “Last shoot we’ll ever do together.”
Rocki appears throughout the video, with Rihanna holding her, kissing her forehead, and talking to her in between takes.
“Who is the high fashion baby?” she asked. “Who is in couture 24 hours after the runway?”
When the cover was released on April 21, Rihanna shared that her daughter “served sumn serious on her first cover! came on set and shut her mama dowwwnn!!!! ”
For Rocki’s first magazine appearance, she wore a Dior Haute Couture diaper and headpiece designed by Jonathan Anderson.
“The haute couture diaper is definitely a first for Dior. When Rihanna asks for something, she is already ahead of what is happening. She is thinking outside the box. When she has an idea, I’m always trusting in the process. I trust her implicitly on anything she feels that is right to do,” Aderson told W mag.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed Rocki on September 13. They are also parents to two sons, RZA, born in 2022, and Riot, who arrived in 2023.
In the same interview with W Magazine, Rocky spoke how much Rihanna has changed since bevcoming a mother.
“She has changed a lot because she became a mother in that time span, and that certainly changes you,” he said. “But this woman has always been magic. Philosophically, the way she operates is on another level. She is the most charming and genuine person on Earth. Her energy is unmatched—one of a kind. I just adore her.”
