    Middle East Conflict Disrupts: Dubai Airports update today: Limited flights resume at DXB and DWC as travellers urged to confirm schedules before travelling

    In a current update, as of 9 March 2026, Dubai’s both Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) are operating with a limited number of airlines. The authorities confirmed the news that after a brief disruption, airlines including major UAE carriers are gradually restarting services on selected routes. Though safety remains the priority therefore travellers are being urged to remain vigilant and follow airline updates before heading to the airport.On 7 March, Dubai Airports announced the partial resumption of operations in phases, allowing select flights to depart and arrive as airlines restore schedules. It is important to note that flight operations across the UAE remain severely affected because of the ongoing regional tensions. The airspace closures and security concerns have affected a number of flights worldwide. The airspace developments have forced several airlines to suspend or reroute flights temporarily.“We have partially resumed operations from today, 7 March, with some flights operating out of DXB and DWC. Please do not travel to the airport unless you have been contacted by your airline that your flight is confirmed, as schedules continue to change,” Dubai Airports posted on X on 7 March.Passenger advisory

    Some flights between the UAE and India, Europe, and other regions have already resumed. However, full normal operations have not yet resumed.
