Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will almost certainly have a bust at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, someday. But, if recent developments are any indication, the star signal-caller may have to wait his turn when Hall of Fame voters decide which year his election occurs.
This week, legendary New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was snubbed by voters in his bid to become a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

Easily the most dominant skipper of his era, Belichick won six Super Bowl titles in New England and was named the Associated Press’ Coach of the Year in 2003, 2007, and 2010.
Mahomes made his thoughts known about Belichick’s inexplicable Hall of Fame snub in a post to Twitter:
It is unclear why voters felt that Belichick was unworthy of election to the Hall of Fame this year, but given the reaction of living legends like Mahomes, it seems likely that the legendary coach will finally earn his bust in Canton next year.
