Gwyneth Paltrow is looking back at the cinematic universe she’s built.
The Se7en actor reflected on her acting career, including how raising her two kids Apple, 21, and Moses, 19—whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin—influenced her to take a new approach in taking on film roles.
“I kind of really stepped back in a meaningful way,” Gwyneth, 53, explained during a Jan. 9 Q&A interview with Demi Moore, per People. “Through the process of talking about this movie, I kind of looked back and [have] been asked questions about it and realized I did such an insane number of films before I had my kids. I was doing four movies a year, five movies a year.”
She continued, “I think I kind of didn’t give myself permission to take my time and be strategic. I was just on this train and when I had my daughter, I really wanted to stop. I stopped for three years completely.”
