    Stocks to watch on Friday, January 16, 2026: Indian equity markets ended Wednesday’s session marginally lower after a volatile trade amid mixed global cues. On the technical front, analysts said bulls are attempting to defend the medium-term support of the 100-day exponential moving average (EMA) near the 25,600 level on the Nifty.

    While the benchmark remains range-bound, selective buying opportunities are emerging across sectors.

    Reliance Industries, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Tata Technologies

    Shares of Reliance Industries, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and Tata Technologies will be in focus as the companies are scheduled to announce their third-quarter results on Friday.

    Infosys

    Infosys reported a 2 per cent year-on-year decline in net profit to Rs 6,654 crore from Rs 6,806 crore. Revenue rose 2.2 per cent quarter-on-quarter to Rs 45,479 crore, marginally beating estimates. EBIT stood at Rs 9,479 crore, with an operating margin of 20.8 per cent.

    Jio Financial Services

    The company posted a consolidated profit of Rs 269 crore for Q3, down 8.8 per cent from a year ago, even as total income more than doubled year-on-year to Rs 901 crore.

    Biocon

    Biocon said it raised Rs 4,150 crore through a Qualified Institutional Placement by issuing 11.26 crore equity shares at Rs 368.35 each, representing a 2.8 per cent discount to the previous closing price.

    HDB Financial Services

    The company reported a 36.3 per cent year-on-year jump in net profit to Rs 644 crore for the December quarter, along with a 22.1 per cent rise in net interest income to Rs 2,285 crore.

    Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL)

    BHEL has started supplying underslung traction transformers for the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train project, marking its strategic entry into the semi-high-speed propulsion segment.

    Zydus Lifesciences

    The company received final approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for Eltrombopag tablets, used to treat thrombocytopenia, or low platelet counts, linked to certain blood disorders.

    RailTel Corporation

    RailTel secured a Letter of Acceptance from Central Railway for an Rs 88.66 crore project involving the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of IP-MPLS network equipment across stations in the Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Bhusawal and Nagpur divisions. The project will enable unified communication for Indian Railways.

    NBCC India

    NBCC has won a Rs 55.02 crore contract from Indian Overseas Bank for the planning, design, execution and handover of the bank’s new regional office building in Raipur.

    Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services

    The company entered into a referral agreement with Jio Credit, under which Zaggle will direct its corporate clients to Jio Credit to access leasing solutions under its Device Leasing Programme.
