Before the 2025-26 NBA season began, the Boston Celtics were expected to struggle. Al Horford, Kristaps Porzingis, Jrue Holiday and Luke Kornet, all key members of the 2024 championship team, had left the franchise by trade or free agency. Brad Stevens had replaced them with young and unproven talent.
Yet, despite the roster turnover, the Celtics have continued finding ways to win games. They currently sit third in the Eastern Conference with a top-five offensive rating. They’re only three games back of the New York Knicks in second. With the way the team is performing and improving, a large portion of the fanbase is starting to dream of a potentially deep postseason run.
