The Texas A&M Aggies (10-3) wasted no time putting on a show Monday night, racing past Prairie View A&M (5–8) in a 111–82 rout at Reed Arena to close out non‑conference play.
History continues to stack up in Aggieland, and Bucky McMillan’s squad added another milestone to the 2025–26 ledger. For the first time in program history, an A&M team has eclipsed the 100‑point mark six times in a single season—and they’ve done it in just 13 games. The Aggies opened both halves with pace and precision, and outside of a few sloppy stretches, looked fully in rhythm.

Five players finished in double figures, led by Rashaun Agee, who recorded his fifth double‑double of the year. A&M shot 54 percent from the field, dished out 21 assists, and turned 12 steals into 21 points. Defensively, they forced 15 turnovers and consistently disrupted the Panthers’ flow.
There was mild concern entering the night about a potential “trap game,” given the holiday timing and Prairie View’s near‑upset of LSU in its previous outing. McMillan made sure his group stayed locked in, and the Aggies responded with one of their most balanced offensive performances of the season. The matchup also allowed for extended minutes across the rotation—valuable reps following the news that Mackenzie Mgbako will miss the remainder of the season with an injury.
With non‑conference play officially wrapped, A&M now turns its attention to SEC action. The Aggies open league play against LSU riding a wave of momentum, having topped the 100‑point mark in three straight games. It hasn’t always been perfect, but they enter January with confidence—and an offense firing at a historic pace.
