And for today’s article, we will continue with the second of 19 players who wore the No. 3, forward alum Derrick Chievous. After ending his college career at Missouri, Chievous was picked up with the 16th overall selection of the 1988 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets.
The New York native played parts of the first two seasons of his pro career with Houston, coming to an end when he traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 1990.
During his time suiting up for the Rockets, Chievous wore only jersey No. 33 and put up 8.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.
