Mark Wahlberg has given an update on his daughter’s condition more than a week after she was injured in a horse riding accident.
Wahlberg told Access Hollywood that Grace, 15, was now on the mend and itching to get back into the saddle after what he called a “terrifying” accident.
“She’s doing great,” he said. “It’s a very, very dangerous sport, but she’s so passionate about it.
“All she wanted to do was get back on that horse, no pun intended. But she was chomping at the bit, and worried that we would deem the sport too dangerous.
“But she’s so passionate, so dedicated.”
Grace first revealed she had been injured on November 3 when she shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed with her arm in a sling as part of a carousel of photos that also showed the teen competing in a show jumping event.
“No pressure we will be back,” she captioned the post.

Wahlberg previously admitted he found her equestrian endeavours difficult to watch.
In 2024, he took to Instagram to speak about her hobby after a video emerged of him watching her compete in a horse show.
“I’ve never been more nervous, anxious, or stressed at any sporting event in my life,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, a video that was filmed by someone nearby captured Grace clearing a jump on her horse before panning to show Wahlberg watching from the stands before he walked away, shaking his head and looking nervous.

Grace’s Instagram is filled with images of her on horseback and competing.
In June, she even marked her dad’s birthday the same way.
“Happy birthday dad️,” she wrote alongside an image of her on her horse while her dad stood nearby.
“Thank you for making all my dreams come true.”
Grace is the youngest of Wahlberg’s four children with wife Rhea.
The couple also share Ella, 22, Michael, 19, and Brendan, 17.
