Top-ranked Ferris State carries an impressive string of dominance into Saturday’s contest with Michigan Tech.
The Bulldogs have outscored the opposition by a whopping 201-0 margin over their last three games, averaging 67 points per game while securing three consecutive shutouts. Not to mention, Ferris State (6-0) is undefeated on the year in its pursuit of a fourth national championship in the last five years.
In Saturday’s 59-point demolition of Wayne State, the Bulldogs had three different players rush for more than 80 yards. That group included quarterback Chase Carter, who notched three total touchdowns.
Needless to say, Michigan Tech (5-1) is going to have its hands full. The Huskies are coming off a defensive-minded two-point win over Davenport, a game in which they forced two turnovers.
