Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz recently celebrated their son Egypt’s 15th birthday with a special tribute post on social media.
“Happy Birthday, my young King!!” the musician began her reel set to original music.
“You were born for this! You’ve always loved it! Everything you touch is magic!!”
“I admire your spirit, the fabric of your character, your kindness, your passion, your determination your DRIVE!!” she continued.
You got it!! May you always be exactly who you are! Unapologetically!! Let’s go Egypt!!”

The two multi-talented musicians share five children together. They are parents to two sons: Egypt and Genesis. Alicia is also stepmother to Swizz Beatz’s three older children from previous relationships: Prince Nasir, Kasseem Jr., and Nicole.
Recently, the “Girl on Fire” singer and her eldest son went on a mother-son-date. She shared a series of photos of the moment on social media, reflecting on Egypt’s growth and of course, expressed just how proud of him she is.
“Mom-son date night makes me so happy!” she began her post.
“Watching you grow into such a brilliant, kind, determined, young soul takes my breath away,” she wrote. “I’m beyond proud of the young king you’re becoming.”
During the summer, the Grammy-winning artist and her husband took the entire family to Japan to join her as she performed in the the two-day Summer Sonic Festival back in August.
In addition to being able to watch their mother perform, Swizz Beatz and the rest of the family also had the opportunity to soak up the culture and fun of one of the most fascinating cultures.
“Surrounded by love, soaking in the beauty of Japan, cherishing every moment! What a blessing,” the 44-year-old captioned on Instagram carousel of images that shared the mix of adventure and downtime.
The trip ended up being more than a family vacation. Alicia summed it all up as being, “good for her soul.”
