Gisele Bündchen has denied rumours she cheated on her ex-husband, Tom Brady.
In a recent interview with the New York Times, the supermodel shutdown a question speculating she began dating Joaquim Valente prior to her and Brady’s divorce in October 2022.
When asked about the affair, Bündchen claimed it was a “lie.”

”This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful,” she said.
“They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family,” she continued. “Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.
“No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship.”

Stars who stayed together after cheating scandals
Bündchen and Valente had a long friendship before they began dating.
The pair first met in 2021, and they were spotted together in Miami and Costa Rica at the beginning of 2022, but reportedly did not begin dating until June 2023.
Two months ago, a source close to the couple told Page Six that the pair are “deeply in love.”
However, according to a source close to Brady, the former football star doesn’t quite agree with Bündchen’s timeline of events.
“If she wants to have people think she has been dating Joaquim only since June, so be it, but they have been together longer and they aren’t taking it slow,” the source told the Daily Mail. “Tom has accepted it”

The source added that Brady and Valente “are not friends,” but since Valente spends time around Brady’s kids, the former quarterback has had to ”find the good in him”
“[Brady] does believe he is a good guy,” the source added. “If Joaquim ever becomes a father figure to his kids, Tom will be able to adapt.”
Bündchen and Brady share two children, Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10. Brady also shares a son, John, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
