The Louis Vuitton Men F/W 2025 Collection just dropped by Pharrell Williams deserves visuals that match in opulence. Showcased as the junction at which high fashion meets streetwear by Pharrell and Nigo, the collection is bright and colorful, featuring tailored jackets,… and handbags for men, which, no doubt, became highly contested on social media.

The mood of the image is set almost perfectly; two models positioned by the sea seemingly with Mount Fuji on the horizon, serene yet high energy, in a manner of speaking. One of the gentlemen wore an olive green jacket with burnt orange collar; the other is seated loosely on the rocks, carrying in his huge hands a blue Louis Vuitton monogrammed handbag. Clocks Modern Luxury. Style so Pharrell: sly, unexpected, and confident to the hilt.
Reactions were scattered. Some quarters applauded Pharrell’s vision, one user enthusing, “You always cook on fashion. What can’t u do at this point like there’s nothing I can think of you can’t do.” Urging the praise, another said, “The burnt orange detail was straight fire.” Some seemed not convinced, with a critic questioning the campaign’s lack of diversity: “PHARRELL WHERE’S THE DIVERSITY NO BIG PEOPLE NO LATINOS NO SMALL PEOPLE SO MUCH FOR WE THE PEOPLE.”
There were, however, some jokes. One joked, “I better never see a man coming up to me with a speedy..,” referring to the Louis Vuitton Speedy bag for men. Others joined in with, “Mon carry handbags now? 👛,” mocking high fashion’s gender norm challenge. If anyone could make a guy carrying a designer purse look good, it’s Pharrell.”
Some of the fans decided to run their own plays: “Come pick me in Nigeria 😢,” one sighed, while another tagged Pharrell directly: “LETS WORK FAMN 🤌🏾🤌🏾.” Supportive were the optimistic ones who wished, “I pray to be here one day 🤲🏾🤲🏾🤲🏾,” for their own fateful shot.
The collection moves, drawing on Pharrell’s trademark combination of streetwear and luxury: tailored coats, statement accessories, and unmistakable LV monogram. The burnt orange stands out for many; it’s a splash of warmth amidst all the earthy hues. And while some doubted the practicality of a handbag for men, others are already picking their favorites. “Bag in 2 and tie in 4. Give it to me 😂😍 love it all esp the tweed coat,” one fan said.
Pharrell’s influence in the fashion industry has not been a recent phenomena-he has challenged conventions from the days with his own Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream. But this LV collaboration shows he still blends cultures, styles, and even expectations of his own; so whether you think that men carrying designer handbags is an amazing idea or a step too far, Pharrell is surely not here to play it safe.
