Taking a journey down memory lane, Katherine Schwarzenegger shared a throwback picture from her high school years with her dear horse Cinco and a newer counterpart-a sweet comparison demonstrating just how long these two have been companions, sparking admiration from their followers. The picture shows a young Katherine in a cowboy hat, her hair braided, gently pressing her cheek against Cinco’s face-a pretty moment frozen in time that holds deep meaning for her to this day.

“Cinco and I in high school —> Cinco and I today” was all that came from the focus-post, plaguing fans, who simply could not become over what appears like an evil perpetual connection between the two. Another comment from a follower exclaimed, “Aww old friends! You’ve taken good care of each other,” while yet another replied, “He looks amazing!! 😍 I still have some old photos of you and Cinco!!” There was a feeling of love that echoed from one comment to another-The comments poured in like, “Love that! How old is Cinco?” and “You both look so cute ❤️❤️❤️”.
Not all reactions, though, were completely genuine. “Last picture: the horse is black… all the others: the horse is brown…?” remarked one keen-eyed Instagrammer. The observation set off a short sidetrack, with another joining, “That’s what I thought, too 🤨.” Be it a wonderful trick of the lighting or the real dastardly matter of time, it sure set tongues wagging.
One of the comments went much more ortho-triple-sharp in grammar policing amongst the warmer ones: “How is it that you have had the absolute best education and still your grammar is horrible. Cinco and ‘ME’ not Cinco and ‘I’. This is basic English.” However, the fierce commentary didn’t seem to cast a shadow over the delight of the post as other users went on to celebrate the heartwarming connection between Katherine and her horse.
A very nice comment put in the spotlight the luxury of long-term care for an animal: “I love that you’ve had the opportunity & resources to care for the horse for this long. My heart goes out to those who can’t. I think you probably feel the same way.” This aligns well with many stories about animal ownership, laying down some heavy curtain to an otherwise lighthearted post.
Later on, some were simply bound to get involved in pop culture comparisons when one fan joked, “Ma’am are you Miley Stewart?!”-a jibe at Hannah Montana’s country upbringing and passion for horses. “Peak horse girl 🐴,” said another, zooming into details like those nameplate bracelets Katherine wore in the throwback.
The post was, in fact, a call asking after the whereabouts of Katherine’s other pets from when one user inquires, “Do you still have your dog, Maverick?” Hold on-her fans are just as invested in the furry family-life as she is.
