New York Giants second-year running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. has been making the rounds on the sports talk circuit recently, and got a surprise when his head coach, Brian Daboll, called into one of the shows he was appearing on.
Tracy was a guest on FOX Sports 1’s The Facility with former Pro Bowl running back LeSean McCoy and ex-Giants wide receiver James Jones this week. The subject turned to what it is like to play for Daboll.
While Tracy was into his explanation, Daboll rang McCoy’s cell phone.
Here’s how it went:
Tracy, a fifth-round pick out of Purdue last season, totaled 1,123 yards from scrimmage as a rookie (839 rushing + 284 receiving) and scored six touchdowns.
