Giving the flight-as-Superman powers to the new DC film, the actor had his sterile image being broken for fun. With the joke about house sitting at Jimmy Kimmel’s while he was away for a minute, the guy posted the picture of his fellow Supermen: Nicholas Hoult and Diego Luna. Against a studio set with a city skyline backdrop, the trio looked charming with Corenswet irreverently contrasting the formals with his eyeball-embossed sweater.

The caption read:
“Thanks @jimmykimmel for letting Diego have us over your house while you’re out of town. Your chairs are comfortable. We watered the plants and said hi to Guillermo. 90% sure we locked the door when we left, but worth double checking.”
The fun post saw thousands of reactions; fans intensified the countdown for the movie much more.
Superman and Cassian Andor? What a crossover!” remarked a user, referring to Diego Luna’s role in the Star Wars Universe. Another, half-jokingly at best, confused Nicholas Hoult with working on a Vanilla Ice biopic: “Didn’t expect Nicholas Hoult to be doing a Vanilla Ice biopic, but I’ll take it!” The confuse was altogether real, as was the enthusiasm.
With this post hot on the heels of international attention, fans sent their appreciation across México City and Colombia. “Greetings, Superman, Lex Luthor and Diego from Mexico City, 2 weeks until the premiere,” wrote an excited admirer, the other one continuing with, “Greetings From Colombia 🔥🔥🔥Superman 🔥🔥🔥.” The excitement for the movie is pushing worldwide now, and that is a straightforward indicator of how well Corenswet maintains his charm beyond Hollywood.
Everyone was talking, but some fans took a step back to recall Diego Luna’s position in history with Rogue One, with one even asking, “Didn’t that guy die in Rogue One?” Replies flared up instantly, somebody chiming in, “That guy was instrumental for The Rebellion wing at The Battle Of Yavin & Endor.” Who’d ever pass up Star Wars lore chitchat, even when it comes to any Superman-oriented discussions?
Since distribution resumed, excitement has been building up towards a climax with days-counts. One fan wrote: “CANT WAIT TO SEE U SUPERMAN on the big screen in less than two weeks David!!!!” Another one chimed in with the same, “Cant wait to see you as Supes on the big screen!!! 12 days to go!” There is real excitement, and Corenswet’s silly post just threw in more fuel.
The post also gave a small insight into Corenswet’s life with one curious person asking, “Did you bring the flowers to your wife?” Apparently, the acting prowess is an embassy for his charm off-screen.

Counting down the days to Superman is going to be an event that will allow even Corenswet to have his laughs in the cape. From funny moments about house-sitting to gossipy Instagram behind-the-scenes banter, the actor is ensuring that no dull moments make it through in between the fans awaiting their star sidekick. If that post says anything about the general atmosphere that will be surrounding the Man of Steel’s return, then Superman is anything but a boring release.
