In a phone call with President Masoud Pezeshkian, Russian President Vladimir Putin has condemned the Israeli regime’s illegal attacks against Iran.
The Russian head of state also stated that he had conveyed his concerns to the Israeli regime’s officials regarding the latest barbarous attacks against Iran.
“These actions are a blatant violation of international law and norms. Russia is ready to mediate in order to de-escalate the tensions,” Putin said.
President Pezeshkian referred to the very first day of the 14th administration, saying the Israeli regime, with the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas as a state guest, has been seeking to provoke tensions.
The Iranian president reminded his Russian counterpart that Iran has consistently declared that it is not seeking to develop nuclear weapons and is ready to provide assurances to the relevant international legal bodies on this matter.
The Israeli regime’s aggressions are a clear violation of international law and will certainly receive an appropriate response, Pezeshkian declared.
