BTS has brought an end to two freak moments within a short while. Jin and J-Hope presented an alternative concept photoshoot for the 2025 FESTA celebrating 12 years of the group, and hence the net is seriously going wacko.

From BTS’s official Twitter account, these photos were posted with the caption “Hoseokjin Photo (Concept Switch ver.)” accompanied by hashtags that let Twitter users try to guess who was who. The fun twist is that Jin picks up J-Hope: all bright energy, so very colorful, while J-Hope takes the elegant, almost ethereal road with the charm that Jin could conjure. Within a matter of minutes, retweets and reactions numbered in thousands, as the fans struggled to come to terms with this weird swap.
One stated, “That is the most super genius and cute concept that I never knew I needed,” while another screamed, “I’M EATING THIS SHIT RIGHT UP THIS IS SOO😭😭😭😭.” Such an infectious wave of excitement swept through thousands of commendations for the design of the concept switch.
But the main fingers are in the details. Jin, usually more of an “Astronaut” kind of era guy, here just went bonkers with this bold and dynamic setup that gave off some serious “Jack in the Box” vibes coming from J-Hope, edgy styling and super intense gaze and all. The other vibe that this guy somehow carries is ethereal; J-Hope is much more down-to-earth, sunshine-y, soft, and dreamy, which juxtaposes well against what Jin is doing. Some were even honest enough to tell that their first reaction was bewilderment.
“Jin in The Box and Hope The Astronaut 😭🔥💜🎉,” a user said, beautifully explaining the genius behind the switch. Another thanked the beloved 2Seok for holding their hands while waiting for the rest of the members, in reference to 2Seok for supporting the fans in BTS’s military hiatus.
In contrast, others weren’t able to buy into the idea at all. One critic insulted the coloring: “The color is annoying, it’s blinding me—change it quickly if it’s not too much trouble.” Even that foul-mouthed comment, however, couldn’t slow down the hype.
Perfect timing on the dot. That means with BTS’s twelfth anniversary in the offing, going all out is imperative for the members to stay engaged with fans while completing their mandatory service. And if this is a glimpse, I am sure 2025 FESTA is going to be one for the ages.
Begging for more, I’ve heard from some. “Hopefully, the other members can also partake when they get discharged from the military too!” intimated one fan, hinting that there are more surprises in the pipeline. Another joked about the chaos that would break loose should all seven members attempt concept swapping.
The pandemic has become the rallying cry to keep the hype alive. Now, the antics of Jin and J-Hope have shown the creative edge of the duo once more and their wonderfully uncommon connection to the fans. One eager fan has announced: “We already feel the Festa 2025 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜.”
