The 2025 NFL schedule featured multiple nationally televised games for the Kansas City Chiefs, including many primetime games. Head coach Andy Reid addressed the media after Thursday’s voluntary OTAs press conference, giving his take on Kansas City’s unique schedule.
“No, it’s good. It’s quite a tour,” said Reid, erupting the press room with laughter on Thursday, “You’re playing all the teams. (It) doesn’t matter where you play. You’ve got to play these guys. They’re doing the same thing we’re doing, playing on the same day as we are. So, (we) gotta get ourselves ready and go. You’ve only got so many weeks you can play. And want to make sure you take advantage of that so I don’t get caught up in all that, whatever, whenever, and whatever goes we go.”
The Chiefs will play seven primetime games in 2025, the most of any team in the league. They were revealed as the Los Angeles Chargers opponents for the Week 1 international game in Brazil, continuing to expand their exposure representing the league.
The ‘America’s Team’ honor is often associated with the Dallas Cowboys, their Thanksgiving opponents. Their extra games nationally have garnered rumors that they are living up to the nickname in this era.
