Kourtney Kardashian Barker did not hold back when letting the world stare into her heart and witness how strongly she felt for Travis. The reality star and Poosh founder took to Instagram with a volcanic post celebrating their union and four words in a blazing caption that read, “Fuck I love this man ❤️🔥.” The very same post, which appeared to appear on the occasion of their anniversary, merely swept through the comment section where supporters and skeptics alike weighed in on their whirlwind romance.

Many commenters shared words of endearment; one gushing, “You’re really in love with him and he’s really in love with you!” Another one added, “Hard not to—he’s an incredible human being!” Some fans twice echoed the sentiment, cheering what they see as a fairytale. Another seized the moment, writing, “You guys are the reason I’ll never settle for anything less than a fairytale.”
Yet occasional northern-star-jammers awkwardly do not allow the two to be completely convinced. A can of worms was opened by one of the commenters who said with an air of sarcasm, “Couldn’t let Kim have the spotlight, could you??” The shade being cast must have referred to Kim Kardashian’s own high-profile relationships-was met almost immediately by counter-arguments accusing the post of actually referring to Kourtney and Travis’ anniversary, with some enjoying that extra kick. “Leave her aloneeeeeee. She’s the best Kardashian,” one went in defense.
Travis Barker stepped into the fray and smashed it with his own reply of “I love you more 🌹,” and now fans went crazy. “Manifesting this kind of love,” an admirer wrote under his comment.
While really showering them with love, a few couldn’t resist the temptation of poking fun at their numerous weddings. “Damn y’all got married like 10 times,” joked one commenter, to which another quickly defended, “It’s an anniversary post with photos from their previous wedding… This isn’t another wedding.”
Most were decrying Kourtney’s joys; one supporter said, “I LOVE THE VIBE BUT I MISS MOM-KOURTNEY MORE… CAN WE GET MORE MOM UPDATES ON THE KIDS…,” which was met with much backlash, one asking why anyone would want to know about somebody else’s kids.
In the end, it was a reminder of how overexposed-and therefore polarizing-have been the Kourtney and Travis relationship ever since day one: their rapid engagement to the big Italian wedding (and renewals) has been collaboratively written by fans and critics alike. If the post is anything to go by, slow is not something these two will really ever see much of.
