On a recent podcast episode, of “Khloe in Wonder Land,” Khloe Kardashian admits that she won’t be as “chill” like her mom when her daughter True starts to date.
“[My parents] were super chill. I don’t think I’m going to be like that and I want to be. I’m always like, ‘What would Kris Jenner do?’” Kardashian told her guest, family law attorney, Laura Wasser.
“You’re gonna be like your mom,” Wasser responded.
Kardashian replied, “I pray so.”
In the episode, Wasser continued, saying that it’s hard not to take after a parent that you are close to and that you admire. Wasser also commented that the Good American co-founder might be more “protective” than her sisters.
Kardashian responded positively responded to Wasser in terms of the attorney stating that she will be like her mom. “I hope so,” The Kardashians reality star affirmed. “Because I’m always like, ‘How did she let go?’ I know True’s 6½…”
Wasser told the mother-of-two that Jenner hasn’t really “let go” of any of her children to which Kardashian acknowledged that she, “… love[s] those types of holding on.”
The 40-year-old continued, “But when you’re 15 and dating someone, you see the car crash about to happen. I would be like, ‘Get the f— away from this douche.’ Where my mom was like, ‘It’s okay.’ I don’t know what…the tequila, the vodka.”
Kardashian shades her two children, True, 6 and Tatum, 2, with Cleveland Cavaliers center/power forward, Tristan Thompson. Thompson also shares two additional children with two other women. He shares Prince Oliver, 8, with Jordan Craig and Theo, 2, with Maralee Nichols.
If we have a vote, it appears as if Kardashian is going to be a healthy mix of her mom and what she has learned on her own as a parent. It definitely seems like she is scoring major points in the parenting realm.
